Abstract

This

research

is

about

the relationship between office layout

and

employee performance.

The purpose

of

this

research is to

study the

relationship between

the office

layout

and job

performance.

In this research,

the independent variables

have

been identified

which

are space

layout, furniture arrangement and office lighting

system,

in

which these

variables

would influence

the

level

of

employee

performance. The

sampling frame

for this research

will be obtained

from all

grade staff

at Majlis

Bandaraya

Kuala

Terengganu (MBKT). Based on

the

table and

the

population

of Majlis

Bandaraya

Kuala Terengganu,

staff

will be

the sample size for the population of

190. Purposive

judgement

sampling method is used

in

collecting

data and

the results

compiled by using

SPSS software system. The

result

involves of

reliability and correlations regression. Finally, the recommendation

included to

help

further researchers

to have a

better finding of the

result.
