STRATEGY

• Review the current IIUM Research structure (research groups / units / centres / institutes)*; R&I policies; and propose that the Financial Policies on Research be developed

• Establishment of IIUM Knowledge Transfer Office

• Organise workshops with all kulliyyahs to identify niche areas

• Enhance index research report in IREP

• Enforce for each academic to (i) produce 4 indexed journal publications per year (ii) belong to at least 1 research cluster (iii) contribute 0.08 MyRA point (at least 2 articles indexed in SCOPUS/WOS/ERA)

• All PG courses should have a research/project component Projection:

- 25% Indexed (WoS/Scopus/ERA) and 25% non-indexed articles from each PG course - 2 Indexed (WoS/Scopus/ERA) articles (Master’s) prior to graduation.
